- Follow the steps to reconnect an account:
a) Either click ‘Connect now’ from the banner as shown on Fig I and Fig II
b) Or click the ‘Connect Bank Account’ button from your Dashboard or Bank Transactions screens
2. Follow the instructions for connecting via Open Banking. For Lloyds Business or CBO.
3. Select the account(s) you want to reconnect.
4. Business Finance Assistant uses your sort code & account number or the last 4 digits of your credit card number to reconnect to your account.

5. To check or change the details, you can click on the edit button.
6. You can see the list of accounts you can reconnect to in the drop down menu.

7. Select the correct account and click ‘Save’.
8. If you connect to an account within Business Finance Assistant which has a different sort code & account number or last 4 digits of your credit card number, you will see the following warning message.

- Select ‘No’ if your selection is not intended. Only click ‘Yes’ if you are sure you wish to import transactions into the selected account.
- Click ‘Save’ for the selection to be saved.
- Click ‘Next’ to complete the process.
Please note – We do not recommend you overwrite the account details selected by Business Finance Assistant. Occasionally it may be necessary to do this, for example, if you receive a new credit card number for an existing credit card account. You can continue to import the transactions for the new credit card number into the existing account held in Business Finance Assistant.
